Searching for values

To open value search, select "Search > Values". This will open a value search window.

Tips

1. Remember to be specific with your value type

Searching for 1, 1.0, 1F and 1L all search for different types. When in doubt, add the extension of your intended type.

• Default type is int
• If a decimal is used, type is double
• If a F or f is the last character, type is float
• If a L or l is the last character, type is long

2. Skip packages that you know you don't need to search for faster searches

While the search implementation is fast you may still want to exclude packages that you know for sure do not have meaningful results to cut down on search time.
